Nature-based art, workshops & events in North Yorkshire.
Welcome to my website. I am a natural colour and textile artist and trained Forest School Leader in North Yorkshire. I specialise in wild art and crafts that deepen our connection to nature and support our wellbeing. My artwork emerges from grown, found and foraged plants and natural materials such as wild dyes and inks to natural weaves and stitch. Sustainability and self-suffiency are central to my practice, respecting the environment, using limited resources and only harvesting where there is abundance.
I am really passionate about sharing these practices with others because they are so poweful in supporting our mental health and wellbeing. All of us have an innate creativity within us and a human need to be part of nature. I invite you explore my website, view my artwork and find out more about nature-based art, sustainable creativity and upcoming workshops and events.
“Working in close relationship with nature brings so much calm, solace and wonder when we allow ourselves to slow down. The scent of woodland air, the song of birds, the beauty of plants and the strength of trees; these are all doorways of connection to ourselves and our Earth. We relealise we are part of the whole and not separate. Making nature-based art taps into this deep connection, bringing immense fulfillment and creative expression. I would love you to join me on my journey of wild making".
